Welcome to RTKLink Corporation's secondary site disseminating public continental-wide DGPS corrections via RTCA2RTCM corrections from BKG.

Contact our support (support@rtklink.com) at RTKLink Corporation's for a username and password to access the WAAS2RTCM streams.

The disadvantages of WAAS (and EGNOS in Europe) are that

First: In urban/metropolitan areas you often can't receive the geostationary satellites.

Second: Same in the northern latitudes: You can' receive the signal (satellite lo low above horizon).

Third: The old GPS equipment doesn't have WAAS capability.

A work-around is converting the WAAS/RTCA signal into RTCM format for a number of static Virtual Reference Stations and disseminate the resulting streams over the Internet.

The RTCA2RTCM conversion needs WAAS data (which is received in Florida by one of RTKLink Corporation's recievers, a Trimble NetRS) and real-time ephemeris. The ephemeris information needed from a reference station is made available via a SCIGN NtripCaster in California and a RTKLink Corporation NtripCaster in Florida. RTCA2RTCM corrections are being distributed via a NtripCaster by RTKLink Corporation.

Below is a map (thanks to BKG) of the available corrections.
